Have you ever had one of those funny memories that repeat in your mind and it always makes you giggle? It seems you can always remember their tone of voice, their facial expression, the way their eyes bugged out or lit up.
I have this memory of my husband. At the end of each day we would put our leftover change into a jar on my husband’s dresser. After a year, the jar was overflowing with pennies, nickels and dimes. I asked my husband if he would take the change to one of those machines that counts the coins and gives you dollars back.
His reply was, “Nah, I’m going to just keep the change.”
He wasn’t even teasing, so I was dumbfounded and asked, “Um…Why?”
My hubby answered, “Because if there were ever a fire, coins would survive the heat and we’d still have money.”
He was completely serious.
“So……” I thought aloud, “we’re keeping bags full of coins around the house so that in years to come, if there ever IS a fire, everything we own would have burned, but THANK GOODNESS we would have saved our coins! What a relief! We would be the proud owners of ten dollars in change!”
Who needs a bank when you can store all your coins in the basement? HOO-YAH!
Personally, I always get a good laugh when I try to analyze things from a man’s perspective.
One of my dearest friends emailed this video clip to me. Many of you have probably seen it. I hadn’t. I laughed and laughed. It doesn't even relate to my blog post, this is just random.
So, sit back and enjoy the tribute clip to…the man cold.

Thanks for that! It is always good to start my week with a laugh.
That is hilarious, Camryn (both your husband and the video).
You have to check out this video link. It's called "The Man Song" and it completely cracks me up.

My own Hubby is sitting here next to me on the couch while I read this and he says,
"But the change WOULD survive the fire...."
LOL....
LOVE IT.
I'll be reading lots and lots more!
That video was a hoot!! My husband is totally like that. When I am sick, he tells me to buck up, when he is, it's like he's dying or something. LOL.
Sorry, I haven't been by lately! My 3 year old high jacked my computer because I got him a new computer game....
