Okay—is anyone’s June just blowing past them?! It feels like the kids just got out of school and already they go back in less than six weeks!
I’ve enjoyed my break from school. It’s been sooooooo nice sleeping in till 7:30 and having a lazy and crazy month. In fact, I don’t have any blogging material!
*GASP!*
It’s just been so pleasant. I wish I had something to write about today, but it is my oldest kiddo’s birthday! And I’m taking this day off to go do things I don’t normally do. I’ll be taking them to the park, letting them play in the shallow creek, having a picnic, playing some more, and taking all the kids out to dinner tonight. I just want to celebrate this day with her to let her know how much we love her.
I hope your summer is feeling as carefree and enjoyable as mine has been. And can I say I am ubberly, UBBERLY excited for the 4th!!!
The 4th of July is my favorite holiday. I love Christmas too, don’t get me wrong, but there is something about the 4th of July and I live for this holiday! It’s patriotism and love for our country and our freedom at its best! I know this is WAY early, but I just want to extend my thanks and gratitude for the men and women who take it upon themselves to defend freedom for me, my children, and everyone else. I love America. I’ll climb on my soapbox in a few weeks, but for now, I want to shout out my appreciation early. :)
Have a great last week of June!

ok, you need to blog about your exploits in chopping and the utlimate p.v.c. marshmellow gun battle of the rocky mountains! I know you have pictures of both of those!
I agree - - that would make a spectacular blog! I'm still finding mini marshmallows on the ground!
